Alex was the PA manager of MIRI European Consortium, a cooperation of about 28 institutes of 10 European countries.
Alex managed to efficiently coordinate the different company cultures and level of awareness of quality control procedures and practices. He brilliantly succeeded to make them homogeneous, such to achieve the manufacturing of a large spaceborne astronomical instrument of high quality standard, as required for delivery to NASA and flight on JWST, the flagship astronomical mission of the next decade.
